The Master of Accounting degree prepares students for careers as professional accountants in financial institutions, government, industry, nonprofit organizations, and public practice. The Master of Accounting degree program is a 32 credit hour general program of study that exposes students to accounting research and theory.
Highlights of Master of Accounting Program
- One of only four accounting master’s degrees in Washington with accreditation from AACSB International-The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business
- Greater breadth and depth in accounting than is possible in baccalaureate or general business degree programs
- Additional preparation for the CPA examination
- Additional credit hours targeted to meet the 150 credit hours necessary for CPA examination eligibility
- Small class sizes
