Short-Term Study Abroad Programs
Destination India 2008
The Fox School of Business and Management, Temple University, has recently expanded partnership with the Welingkar Institute of Management, Development, and Research, Mumbai, India, to include study abroad opportunities for business students. This is a 14-day trip (with two travel days). Tentative program dates: Jan. 1-16
Program fees: Approximately $2,800 USD. The fee will cover all domestic travel within India, hotel accommodations, and most meals. Temple CIBER will subsidize the cost at $300 for each Fox School student (non-Temple students add $300). Group airfare will be arranged at an estimated cost of $1,200 to $1,400 round trip.*A $500 deposit will be due on Oct. 1. Students will be assessed tuition during the spring semester for IB 3582. (Round trip airfare from other destinations will incur an additional fee.)
WSU students are able to attend this short-term program due to membership with the Consortium of Undergraduate International Business Education. Students can receive 3 WSU credits by enrolling in IBUS 496.

Japan Study Tour
The Center for International Studies at the University of Missouri-St. Louis is offering a unique opportunity to participate in its Japan Study Tour (May 2008).
Students will experience a fascinating blend of traditional and modern cultural exploration combined with the study of a vibrant economy. The trip will include lectures, language study, company visits and government briefings, nightly cultural experiences, and breathtaking trips to sites of major interest.
Program Fee: $2,600 – Includes round-trip airfare, lodging and breakfast, all in-country program-related travel and entrance fees and program materials. Tuition Fee: $742.80 for 3 UM-St. Louis credits. Space is limited to 33 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
Itinerary: Seven days in Tokyo, one day in Nikko (U.N. World Heritage Site), one day in Nara (U.N. World Heritage Site), six days in Kyoto.
WSU students are able to attend this short-term program due to a membership with the Consortium of Undergraduate International Business Education. Students can receive 3 transfer credits from UM-St. Louis.

Contemporary European Business
The University of Evansville’s AACSB International accredited Schroeder Family School of Business Administration is offering a ten-day Contemporary European Business course that will take place on their British campus in Grantham, England, May 8-18, 2008. Enrolled students live in and take their course work at the expansive Harlaxton manor, in addition to spending three days in London, where students will visit major corporations and historical venues.
Program fees: $2,300 for 3 credits, including room and board, transportation to and from London airport, and all field trips, as well as transportation and lodging in London. Students are responsible for their own transportation to England.
