Where Do You Begin?
Start Planning Early
A lot goes into planning to study abroad. First and foremost, you should start planning early. Here are a few things to think about.
Choose Your Program
Investigate all of the College of Business
Faculty-Led
programs thoroughly. Look at the brochures and speak with the program coordinators to help answer any questions you might have, or just talk about the programs. If one of these doesn't seem to suit your needs, look for another education abroad program either on this website or at the International Programs Office in Bryan 105.
Talk to Your Advisor
Contact your
advisor
to find out how education abroad and a
Faculty-Led
program can best fit into your academic plan. Your advisor can help you plan which classes you should take right away and which ones you should save for your study abroad. Use the information from this website as well as other information you've gathered to facilitate your discussion.
Financial Considerations
Can you afford to study abroad? Yes. Early planning for study abroad helps you make cost-effective decisions about programs and locations. It also helps you prepare financially by saving and by applying for financial aid and scholarships. Financial aid does apply to study abroad and your eligibility may increase to cover additional expenses.
