China (Chengdu)
Study abroad in China for Spring semester! This unique semester program gives WSU students the opportunity to enroll in a variety of business classes alongside Chinese students at the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics where the WSU China Center is located. Tours during the program bring China to life as you see Beijing, the Great Wall, and the Forbidden City. Enjoy China, the world’s third largest economy.

Greece (Agios Konstantinos)
Take advantage of the opportunity to earn six to nine credit hours while visiting the land where civilization began, the unique and culturally rich country of Greece. Students will enjoy the sun and the sea while experiencing an ancient yet modern civilization. As students will interact with the local population, they will learn how many Greek words are the ancient roots of the English language. Be ready for an educational experience of a lifetime!

Italy (Florence)
Imagine being able to create a delicious three course meal of traditional Tuscan recipies. Even better, imagine having an appreciation for wine that would enable you to select wine to complement the meal. Let's not forget the perfect cup of espresso with tiramisu. Now in it's sixth year, this program enables students to gain experience at the Apicius International School of Hospitality with hands-on training in a Tuscan kitchen, study and taste the wines of Italy, and train in the front and back of house operations at a student operated restaurant in the city center. This seven-week summer program includes weekend excursions to view production of regional specialties such as parmesan cheese and balsamic vinegar.

Switzerland (Brig)
Study abroad in Brig, Switzerland, for an entire semester (fall or spring) while earning up to 18 credits toward your WSU degree. This program is located at the University Centre Cesar Ritz, which lies in the heart of the Swiss Alps. The immediate surroundings of the small town of Brig offer unequaled beauty and opportunities to relax, whether hiking in the spring or skiing in the winter. Faculty members from WSU and UCCR will provide instruction in English along side UCCR's dynamic international study body. An exciting three to five day excursion is included to locations such as Egypt and Turkey. Brig is also a convenient departure point for most of central Europe, including Austria, France, Germany, and Italy.

Thailand (Chiang Mai)
Study in Chiang Mai, a place known for its amazing food, magnificent landscape, and friendly people. Chiang Mai is 350 miles north of Bangkok, nestled between the mountains of the tropical north. During the 6-week summer program, students will be immersed in the local community, culture, and people. Students take business courses taught by WSU and CMU professors at Chiang Mai University alongside Thai and other international students. Company visits, cultural excursions, and a tour of the capital, Bangkok, are included.

Thailand (Phuket)
Study on the southern island of Phuket, a beautiful oasis of sandy beaches and relaxation. This six-week summer program includes Thai cooking and serving and an internship focusing on Thai customs and culture related to hospitality. Other activities include diving, snorkeling, kayaking, culture, and heritage, as well as animal and nature adventures. Come see why Thailand has been given the nickname “the land of a thousand smiles.”
