Study abroad in Nantong, China, on the new campus of Nantong University, three hours north of Shanghai. This unique summer program gives WSU students the opportunity to enroll in two or more core business classes alongside Chinese students. Greece
Study in Ioannina, Greece, the land where civilization began. This important commercial and cultural center is surrounded by large, high-peaked mountains and next to Lake Pamvotis. During the six-week program, there will be opportunities to interact with the local population, learn how Greek words are the ancient roots of our own language, and visit Corfu, Athens, and Delphi, which holds an important archeological site. Come to Greece and experience the history.

Italy
Take in the rich culture, art, and natural beauty of Italy while studying at Apicius, the prestigious Culinary Institute of Florence. Known as the gem of the Tuscany region, Florence is full of history and excitement. This nine-week summer program includes weekend excursions to a villa in Tuscany where students will enjoy a five-course meal, a 17th century rice mill, and a vineyard in the Verona region.

Korea
Come and explore South Korea! Study in Seoul and Pusan, South Korea, which has the 11th largest economy in the world. During the five-week program you will tour Everland, with one of the world largest theme parks, Panmumjeom, in the demilitarized zone, a Korean folk village, and Kyungju in the capital city of the Silla Dynasty. You will be surprised at this modern country full of traditions.

Switzerland
Study abroad in Brig, Switzerland, for an entire semester while earning up to 18 credits toward your degree at WSU. This program offers classes from WSU professors as well as professors from University Centre Cesar Ritz. Take the train and visit Rome for the weekend or spend your free time skiing in the Alps.

Thailand (Chiang Mai) [2009]
Study in Chiang Mai at Chiang Mai University, a place known for its amazing food, magnificent landscape, and extremely friendly people. Chiang Mai is about 350 miles north of Bangkok, nestled between the rolling jungle hills of the tropical north. This four-week summer program includes numerous visits to international companies. Other activities include visiting an elephant reservation, an in depth look into Buddhism, and a vacation to the southern island of Phuket.

Thailand (Phuket)
Study on the southern island of Phuket, a beautiful oasis of sandy beaches and relaxation. This five-week summer program includes Thai cooking and serving and an internship focusing on Thai customs and culture related to hospitality. Other activities include diving, snorkeling, kayaking, culture, and heritage, as well as animal and nature adventures. Come see why Thailand has been given the nickname, “the land of a thousand smiles.”
