Center for Entrepreneurial Studies

CES
The WSU chapter of Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) is invaluable to all entrepreneurship majors and minors. Students working with SIFE have participated in tax seminars, helped at the local Community Action Center, partnered with the Carson Center to offer career workshops, educated other students about the terms and uses of credit, and explored an international project in Vietnam – all in a single semester. WSU SIFE members also participate and place in regional and national SIFE competitions each year.

The newly-formed entrepreneurship club, Cougar Entrepreneurs, provides exciting opportunities for its members to experience entrepreneurial leadership. Sponsoring trips for students to visit other cities, inviting successful entrepreneurs to visit with students in Pullman, establishing an “entrepreneurs in the classroom” program, and taking the lead in supporting the WSU business plan competitions are all part of the Cougar Entrepreneurs club activities.
