To ensure your materials are delivered correctly, all packages MUST be clearly marked with both your ORGANIZATION NAME and SHBM Career Night.
NOTE: Please allow for an extra day for delivery, as all mail sent to campus is first received by Central Receiving and then distributed to its final destination on campus.
The SHBM Career Night will schedule a pick-up by Federal Express (not FedEx Ground) on Friday, February 20 from the SHBM office located in Todd Hall 470. All materials must be appropriately packaged and all return paperwork (billing information or account number) must be complete on your shipping label. If you would like to use another carrier, you MUST make your own arrangements. Please schedule a pick-up at the SHBM office by 4:00 pm on Friday, February 20.
Don’t forget your completed shipping labels and packing tape!
Booth Assignments
The SHBM Career Night is such a popular event, it routinely sells out. Booths are assigned on a first come first served basis, so register early.
Check-In
You must check-in for the SHBM Career Night between 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 19 in the CUB. Please check-in at the table located near the entrance to the CUB Senior Ballroom on the second floor. Upon check-in, you will receive your specific booth assignment and important information for the day. If you have shipped items to the SHBM office prior to the event, you may pick up your materials across Terrell Mall from the CUB in Todd Hall 370. Volunteers will be available to assist you in bringing your materials to your booth.
Loading/Unloading
Volunteers will be available to assist with materials unloading and set up. You can unload materials at the entrance to the CUB. Once unloaded, parking is available at the Center for Undergraduate Education parking garage.
Parking
Parking is available at the Center for Undergraduate Education parking garage. However, you will need to pick up your visitor parking permit at the WSU Visitor’s Center located in Downtown Pullman before arriving on campus. Just tell the staff that you are with the SHBM Career Night and your permit will be free. A limited number of permits will also be available at the CUB during check-in.
As on any college campus, parking is limited. Arrive early for better space. Consider carpooling to campus with other recruiters or utilizing the free shuttle service provided by some local hotels. You’ll avoid parking hassles and conserve energy!
Reception
WSU SHBM will be sponsoring a buffet-style reception for all company representatives, faculty, and staff prior to the recruiting event. This reception will take place in the CUB Ballroom from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. This is a great opportunity to meet and mingle with other recruiters prior to the event.
On Campus Interviews
If you are planning to conduct on campus interviews, the SHBM has reserved nine interview rooms for February 20 with the Center for Advising and Career Development (http://employers.careers.wsu.edu/default.asp?PageID=1669). If you would like to reserve a block of time for on-campus interviews, please follow the link below to register your organization.
