At both Washington State University and the College of Business, students have plenty of opportunities to be involved. Through the Carson Center, students can enhance their organizational, service, leadership, and networking skills by participating in the Roadmap to Success Program, Student Ambassador Program, and the Boeing Mentorship Program. In addition, the Center encourages club involvement and assists CB clubs though the Business Student Leadership Council.
The Roadmap to Success Program (formerly the Reaching for Success Award Program) recognizes students for achievements in four important areas:
· Education
· Skills
· Experience
· Networking
The Boeing Mentorship Program connects undergraduate and graduate students from the College of Business at Washington State University with business professionals at the Boeing Company. Through mentorship, business students can explore learning beyond the traditional limits of the classroom. The program gives students access to leaders in their field of interest through which they can seek professional advice on educational, career, and networking opportunities. Students are also provided with a change to observe, question, and explore the professional environment of the Boeing Company. [Click here for 2008 application]

The Student Ambassador Program
offers a select number of students the opportunity to serve business students and the college in a variety of ways. Ambassadors:
• Are headquartered in the Carson Center and support the center’s mission;
• Assist with event planning, workshops, mock interviews, resume critiques, and marketing initiatives;
• Get direct exposure to and build relationships with company recruiters and representatives; and
• Gain “real life” professional experience and life-long transferable skills.
The Business-Student Leadership Council (BLC) is comprised of presidents from business-related clubs and organizations. The Council meets twice each semester with administrators of the College of Business to discuss current issues, future goals, and college strategies.
