The best partnerships are mutually beneficial. The College of Business believes it is important to provide opportunities to connect companies with WSU business students and for companies to be involved in the educational process at multiple levels through financial support and interaction. In order to assure a win-win situation, we’ve created an umbrella partnership that creates a continuum for following business students from the recruitment phase all the way through to job placement upon graduation.

The three “R’s” in academia have long been cited as “Reading, wRiting, and aRithmetic.” We, however, would like to take a fresh look at the three “R’s” as it relates to supporting students at the collegiate level: “Recruitment, Retention, and Real-world Readiness.” Through these complementing three program components, there is a real association with the importance of education and the success that is created when thoughtful, continuing encouragement is combined through educational programs with collaborative corporate participation.

Together as partners, we can focus on helping students achieve their dreams, extending beyond the college years. As students think about their futures and work toward fulfilling their educational objectives, we will be providing them with information about possible careers. We believe the exposure to business students that is gained through your corporate support can impact your future client and supplier relations as our students move out into their careers as future business leaders.
