The Washington State University Economic Development Assistance University Center is a program of Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at WSU. The EDA Center is a part of the larger outreach effort of the WSU College of Business. The program is funded by an annual grant from the Economic Development Administration of the U.S. Department of Commerce, and matching funds from state and private sources.

The EDA Center provides services to any community, economic development organization, or individual, with priority given to needs and issues in economically distressed areas. Our objective is to assist in problem solving and human development leading to economic development.

The EDA Center reflects the values of the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies. These values include a sincere belief in helping individuals achieve their potential, the necessity of life-long learning, and the effectiveness of free market solutions for economic development.
