Joe Harris, Supervising Manager
Joe Harris is the supervising manager of Washington State University Innovation Assessment Center. Following the completion of the assessment report, Mr. Harris provides up to 20 hours of personalized business consulting to IAC clients for those who qualify. This consulting could include business plan development, marketing plan development, and connections to prototype manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors.

Mr. Harris teaches Management 492 and 496. Mgt. 496 leads students through the process of writing a business plan for their own business and Mgt. 492 engages students in consulting with local businesses. He is also the director for WSU's Economic Development Assesment University Center.

In addition to BS and MBA degrees from Washington State University, Mr. Harris has eight years experience as the owner and operator of a scientific instrument manufacturing company that employed 14 employees and had annual sales of over $1 million. He was personally involved in the writing and administering of three successful SBIR Phase I and one Phase II awards.
