James C. Nelson Gallery of Excellence – Todd Atrium
The purpose of the Gallery of Excellence is to publicly recognize and celebrate excellence throughout the college among our students, staff, faculty, alumni, and donors. Presentations are displayed on the two digital walls featuring people, events, and innovations that have impacted the college. Funding for the project was provided by CB alumni Bill and Joyce Furman. Bill Furman was a student and admirer of former economics professor, James C. Nelson, for whom the gallery is named.

Atrium Coffee Cart – Todd Atrium 100
This is a hospitality lab helping students gain valuable experience and internship credits in the operation and management of a coffee service business. The lab services campus faculty, staff, and students with food and drink, accepts multiple payment options, and has two cash registers; items include coffee beverages, smoothies, juices, soft drinks, soups, and items made by the hospitality program such as baked goods, sandwiches, and salads.

Scott and Linda Carson Center for Professional Development – Todd 101
The Carson Center serves students by equipping them with the skills necessary for personal and professional success in three areas: student involvement, professional development, and internship and job search. Students can receive resume critique and instruction, participate in employer-led workshops and mock interviews, and practice presenting in a boardroom setting. Professional staff provides career and professional development guidance for both graduate and undergraduate students. The Center features wireless networking, laptops, kiosks, video recorders, voice and video conferencing on a 42" display, a ceiling mounted projector, 8' wide projection screen, document camera, and a 60" display for seminars and presentations.

Boeing Wireless Classroom – Todd 105
This classroom is designed to encourage collaborative learning and support the delivery of innovative technology-based content. There is no front or back of the classroom and no podium: the room is made up of movable tables, chairs, and couches, including a 28" wide projection screen, 8' projection screen, three independent ceiling projectors, wireless network access, voice and video conferencing, digital whiteboard, wall mounted whiteboard, and rolling whiteboard.

MBA Classroom – Todd 109
This classroom is designed to accommodate the team environment of the cohort MBA program. It is a flexible classroom and can support dynamic learning: it has groups of movable tables and chairs, wireless network access, a ceiling projector, a 12' wide projection screen, document camera, a printer, and two whiteboards.




College of Business Masters Suite – Todd 113

This space is used by Masters’ Teaching Assistants for holding their office hours. The location of one space for office hours provides undergraduate students with a single location to visit with Teaching Assistants. The room is made up of 13 stations and has wireless access and power for laptop equipment, open meeting space, and a high-speed printer.

College of Business Ph.D. Suite – Todd 126/127
The room is made up of 12 individual stations housing first-year Ph.D. candidates. This configuration provides a space for study and research, and allows Ph.D. students to get to know one another and build relationships with colleagues. The room includes wireless access, power, Ethernet, and a high-speed printer.

E-Commerce Classroom – Todd 203
Courses and research in information systems, programming, and software applications are collected, demonstrated and taught in this room. The room features customized stations, computers and flat panel monitors at each station, three independent ceiling projectors and projection screens, a document camera, voice conferencing, sound system, and a touch panel control interface.


Hospitality Computing Lab – Todd Addition 267
The lab is made up of 16 computer stations with flat panel monitors and a high-speed printer. Hotel, restaurant, and catering simulation software and other business tools are offered in the lab, along with traditional business software applications. An additional office space attached to the lab has three computer stations and is the operations center for the hospitality school’s student-run coffee cart.

Hospitality Dining Room – Todd Addition 268

The dining room is used for guest lectures and career previews as well as breakfast, lunch, and dinner events catered by CB students. The room provides a setting where students who work for Hospitality Catering Services are able to plan, prepare, and execute a variety of events for clients throughout the iniversity. Events range from four-person lunches to 72 guests for the Feast of the Arts, which is held on home football game weekends.

Hospitality Culinary Kitchen – Todd 270

The kitchen is used for both educational and production purposes with two classes within the School of Hospitality Business Management holding labs in the kitchen multiple times a week. The kitchen is a fully-functioning production style kitchen, and serves as the kitchen for the school's Hospitality Catering Services for the production of food for the Atrium Café and other catering events. Students receive hands-on experience while making food ranging from cookies for six people to a four-course wine pairing dinner for 72.

Hospitality Research and Instruction Classroom – Todd Addition 277
This room is utilized for hospitality courses and research. It has a projector and projection screen, a single lab computer station, and DVD/VCR player. Students operating the School of Hospitality Catering program also utilize the space for operations management and as a command center.



Technology Classroom – Todd 330
This lab is used for educating students on business technology and includes a presenter’s computer podium, document camera, projector, projection screen, sound system, and 50 computer stations. Students are able to actively participate in computer instruction and ask questions as they progress. More than 36 programs are available in the room for education and research.



Consumer Behavioral Marketing Lab – Todd Addition 391
This lab consists of several rooms. The rooms include a behavioral observation room, a beverage sensory tasting area, two focus group and conferencing research rooms, and a 13-station computer lab with a rear projection screen and projector. The room is used to study the responses of consumers and how they come to decisions and choose their responses. Students are frequently involved in faculty marketing research, participating in physical sensory experiments and computer surveys.

Financial Markets Lab – Todd 402
This lab accommodates students taking finance and portfolio management courses. It offers computers, two 42" displays for displaying stock and news reports, a stock ticker, and printer.








Finance Classroom – Todd 409

This classroom has a facilitator’s station with a computer, document camera, VCR/DVD combo, projection screen, and projector. It hosts finance and real estate courses, research, and presentations. Faculty instruct on how to perform financial analysis and implement financial techniques and demonstrate software tools available to students in the Financial Markets Computer lab.




The College of Business and its surrounding area are equipped with wireless access courtesy of T-Mobile, enabling students to study and collaborate outside of the classroom.
