Seattle Seahawks CEO Tod Leiweke to Speak at WSU College of Business’s Power Breakfast in Seattle

PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State University College of Business will hold its next Power Breakfast in Seattle, Wash., on Friday, Aug. 29, 2008. The breakfast will take place at The Seattle Sheraton Hotel & Towers and will feature guest speaker Tod Leiweke, CEO of Seattle Seahawks, speaking about “The Power of Sports, Building Brands, and Building Community.”

Leiweke is entering his sixth season with the Seattle Seahawks after joining the club in June 2003. The 2008 season is Leiweke's 26th season in professional sports. Leiweke serves as Chief Executive Officer for the Seattle Seahawks and oversees all aspects of the club. In addition, he is president of First and Goal Inc., the organization that manages Qwest Field and Event Center for the state of Washington.

Now in its fifth year, the Power Breakfast Series continues to inform, inspire, and engage WSU alumni and regional business leaders on topics of entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership. This installment is part of the annual WSU Cougar Pride in Seattle celebration, designed to showcase the university’s world-class achievements and spread Cougar Pride throughout the Puget Sound region.
